Officers' Quarters 4
Officers' Quarters was one first five quarters built at Fort Concho.
Colonel Grierson's niece, Helen Grierson Fuller, after her marriage to Lieutenant William Davis lived in the house, where in 1880 their daughter was born.
It was also the birth place of Brig. Gen. Charles P. George (August 10, 1886). Gen. George was Captain of the U.S. Olympic Riding team in 1924 and married to the daughter of Charles Curtis, Vice-President during Hoover's administration.
Today the quarters houses the Museum of Telephony which exhibits the history of the telephone industry.
